Monk, how do you not choose iksar?

Iksar has some advantages over human monks but won't affect you nearly as much as choosing iksar or non-iksar when rolling necromancer. The extra ac and hp regen helps but that's it.

A lot of people don't know you can FD/hide to use a KoS banker, or use sneak to be indifferent to use any vendor

The Epic human monk Epic dps is slightly higher than the Iksar epic dps.

Many high-end monks made their characters before Kunark. Other than that, there is no power gaming reason to pick human. To me, it seems weird to put Sleeper's Tomb robes on human monks....when Kunark was out for 4+ years. But I understand people get sentimental about their characters.

There's a couple posts about Human monks being less common....not really bro. Human and Iksar monks are equally common at level 60.

There is absolutely no doubt at all in any form that Iksar make the better monk from a min/max point of view

That said, I'm probably going to make a human monk

Another reason is you can barely notice the hp regen until you are 51+ where the difference skyrockets. Most people won't be willing to reroll at that point.
