I think this pack changed my moon texture FYI

I know you tried to seperate the environ from the characters but seems like the moon slipped through the cracks.

I'm curious if you're willing to share the process you go through to achieve your final result.
Is it just the texture(s) sharpened && || contrast/gamma adjusted?

(I'm just strictly interested in what goes on in PS/Gimp/etc not anything to do with the game)

Hello , I did not create this and I am just bringing it back to the light , because it really improves the detail and yet keeps the classic EQ feeling.

The Original creator has quit long ago (or at least has never responded to me , and his thread has been locked for years). The guy that originally did this (linked on my OP) just enlarged the image of armor somehow. If that makes sense. Like it was set at 25% and he bumped it to 100%
(not exact numbers... and i believe he goes into more detail if wish to check out his OP)
Besides the detail update that i linked , you can also get this cartoon more like a painting look too , so i assume it is something like you mentioned just messing with sharp and contrasts.
I know he did not do anything to big , because GMs have allowed us to use it for years now and no ones ever reported a problem with the character textures.
Plus very few have problems with the specific zone texture, which get fixed/solved easy.

Here is some of what he said and his website with the download explains a little more.

" I know most people prefer this classic server to appear 100% classic, and although the blurry nostalgic memories of bad textures are nice for a bit, I have found a way to upgrade your textures which significantly improve your visual experience. A lot of people have the idea that EQ Titanium already comes with the new textures. However, they do not for whatever reason (probably to save space, the new zone files are much bigger in file size)"
This is why i say if you are playing on any computer that has trouble with EQ or do not have a free GB on your drive then only get the character pack.

Again , I did not create this, but it improves the game quality (opens visors on elfs , fixes black spot bugs, plus makes your armor , especially chain and robes look a lot more detailed.) So i recreated his locked post for the sole purpose of more people knowing about it. If been playing with the blur and having fun , i guarantee you will like this update. Doesn't change anything drastically, is what i'd refer to as visual ever crack.

Wonder if someone could do this here with EQ.
I am guessing it would take a long time but damn it would be nice.
