Awakened / Forsaken / Asgard are no longer Class C. Who will step up and become the next big Class C guild? The saga continues...

Unlike Xexbis, I prefer to respond to silly propaganda with real data.

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

This is a weighted sum of all of the raid mobs killed by both guilds since Rampage broke up. The raw data is here. All weights were decided by scientifically polling a committee of one.

Notes:
  • Since Awakened was formed (week of 2/14) we have 15% more EVKs than Forsaken and Asgard together (23.8 vs 20.6).
  • Awakened is the only guild to kill the Avatar of War from 100% (3 times) and Tunare (1 time).
  • As someone on the inside, I feel quite confident that our improvement is not luck. It just took us a few weeks to get comfortable pulling mobs in TOV.
  • Forsaken and Asgard do have 4 out of the 5 Vulak kills during this period, so they have that going for them.
  • A linear fit to FA's kill rate suggests they will hit -5 Vulak kills per week by the end of March.

In before talentless 'graphs are nerdy' posts.

Hard to determine the weights of mobs. I'd put yelinak over dain, vyemm higher than statue and misisng some stuff we killed. This brings back memories of doing this for ISDS in business schoolt hough.

Well my logic was that the Belt of Dwarf Slaying (100/100 AOB) is better than the Gauntlets of Dragon Slaying (75/75 41% haste) and the rest of Yelinak's loot table is pretty miserable. Dain at least has a pretty sweet customizable crown. Of course if the warders were up it would be different. Vyemm has some OK gear, but I wouldn't underestimate the Statue who has two hard BIS items (BP/Cloak). Anyway, it's all subjective <shrug> I just had fun typing out 'Effective Vulak Kills' [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I added everything on your thread and anything that that was marked as FA kill, so it really shouldn't be missing much barring clerical errors on my part. BDA assured me that they killed everything in VP this cycle.

Dain belt over Yeli gaunts is a toss up. The question really is "how much of an upgrade is the item over the next bis or more common slot filler for each class. Need to see a graph for that please Raev!

Congrats on the big week! Things are leveling out and its what keeps everything fun.
