There's nothing wrong with LC as DKP has it's own flaws, but with loot council it's important that you trust the judgement and objectivity of those deciding. If you lose that trust, it's bad.

BDA has been rolling with the same leadership essentially since 2010. The official tag has only changed hands 3 separate occasions, but I've been holding the actual tag since sometime in 2013 maybe and before that I was a co-leader in 2012 when the tag passed to Sadad. The previous leader before Sadad and myself is still active and helps in an officer role. That's a lot of leadership experience which makes for a pretty solid council when you add in other officers with 2-3 years of experience as well. The bottom line is loot council can work, but you need the right people at the top.

every issue can be solved with simple adjustments

you know the kind of thing that can be openly explained and applies to everyone in guild equally

for example DKP inflation is a solid tool to prevent hoarding or late-expansion slacking

Say what you will about Chest, but over the years it's been obvious that he consistently looks out for the best interests of his people. That's all you can ask for from a leader. He is an asshole, but suggesting BDA lacks or has bad leadership is just wrong.
