I've wondered, is 36% haste (Cloak of Flames) + Aura of Battle belt better than 41% haste from sky belt? I haven't done much testing but those are the only two haste items I have and I want to try to get that belt in use if I can.

It's probably close enough that it doesn't matter either way, but I'd say 41% is probably better. The attack you get from Aura of Battle isn't big enough to make a noticeable difference.

I think it's literally the same. I'm remembering 10 atk = 1% dps boost from some website I went to ages ago. Between the timer and general attack haste, Sky belt is probably better. I'd give that CoF to your ranger for bow haste... if you ever get your huntsman.

Right, like I could get WR to max my haste but then I'd be losing 20 attack while only gaining 10. The AoB belt has lots of stats/resists so if it's literally the same I'd probably use the belt and save my fingers a bit on the backstab mashing.

Even a 21% from Sky belt drops your timer by 1-2 sec. I did some testing with epic, 21, and 41 a couple weeks ago but I can't find my logs.

It's safe to assume anything with a visible % will work for timer reduction.

If you check the bug reports, the only 2 items in game that have the problem of not affecting timers correctly are Ragebringer (Rogue Epic) and Swiftwind (Ranger offhand epic). All other haste items are currently lowering cooldown timers. If you have any documented proof (Website URL, old logs, screenshots) that it should or should not be affecting timers, you should post it there.

While I haven't tested it personally, I had a monk I grouped with claim the monk clicky epic haste was not affecting Flying Kick refresh, but her eyepatch of plunder 20% haste buff lowered refresh by a second. So is possible the monk epic haste isn't affecting special attack refresh.

Rogue backstab has 10 sec cooldown with no haste. Epic haste lowers the cooldown to 6 secs with 40% haste.
