Had it happen after a Windows update caused driver update/incompatibility on my Windows 7 rig.
I reverted to an earlier save, disabled updates permanently. Haven't had a problem since reverting. It wasn't p99 related for me really, it would crash kinda any time without warning. No blue screen, just shutdown. Try reverting back if you can, or if you are aware of any updates recently etc when the problem started. Its your call.
