I pick alts based on what I want to do that I can't do with my main. Rogue main? Solo alt. Caster main? Melee alt. Etc.

With a fungi monk main you can do basically everything except cast spells. You've done necro and sham, if you loved one do it again. If not, think of chanter or druid or cleric, depending on if you want solo or solo and group capability.
That's kind of what I was thinking. Definitely leaning toward a Caster and something I cant do on my monk

You sir are looking for a bard.

Bard can track, cast spells (songs), and melee a lot at lower levels. Bard also has the advantage of no forced downtime, unless you are charming for hours straight in later levels. The only downfall of bard is being the envy of all your peers.

With a fungi and money to buy a granite face grinder, 65hp/6ac rings and other necessities you may want to consider shaman. I find them lots of fun and very versatile when well geared. Very good solo and in groups as well. They cost a fortune in spells 50+, but they are crazy strong at 60.

Will echo what was said earlier and recommend to not play another melee. Probably want to stay away from wizard as well, unless you actually intend to level to 60 and raid on it.

Enchanter..

They are cheap to gear, the most OP class in the game other than a level 60 torp sham (which costs 200k+ to have one) and are A LOT of fun. My 57 enchanter can solo a lot of nice cash camps.

I have a twink ranger right now. It's a lot of fun, but not practical since i already have a 60 monk. Monks are like a better version of a ranger, without the track ability and low level druid spells. I will probably level it to either 30 so she has sow, than use her as an EC tunnel mule, or MAYBE (prolly not) level to 46 and perma park her somewhere to track targets.

Just leveled a rogue. Was a lot of fun. More fun than i thought it would be. However.. monks should out DPS rogues by the end of p99's timeline.. so ya. Plus I really think you should keep your fungi on your monk.

Wizards are kinda cool. I'd love to have a high level one. But jesus christ all that sitting.

Bards are pretty sweet. Super useful in groups, even more so in raids.

Voted enchanter, was so much fun to play as an alt while leveling my main OG warrior, which was like the least fun thing to do until level 52.

Although I would now say that a properly twinked monk/sham would be great

Yeah, even with a lowbie enchanter, I was making a lot more plat than with my main warrior, even just running around doing clarity service. Pretty funny stuff

SK is pretty sweet even though the option wasn't listed. Can solo some decent content and won't have as much downtime if you swap that Fungi over.

Can tank, FD (sooooo nice for those AFKs and sticky situations), pull, and can rampage tank on raids. Downside is won't be that different than monk except you can cast spells and not do as much damage (but your epic is crazy hard / expensive).

I guess I always just liked and admired SKs.
