Are you using WinEQ2 or just running it with the bat file? I don't have a solution, I'd like to help but I'm unsure. There is a setting in wineq2 to disable/enable sound, which is why I asked that. Do you have any other applications like coolsoft virtualmidisynth or anything like that?
