Default Issues with Pop-up Text

So I've noticed that over the past few days, the text that usually pops up when I hover my mouse over things like spell gems, inventory items, and spell effects, no longer appears. This isn't game breaking, but it does make it quite annoying to keep track of various buffs that have identical icons. Re-installing the game/restarting my comp seem to make no difference. Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,

-bbsmitz

This also just started happening to me as well, unclear why. Prior posts suggest that restarting your computer resolves this.

There was a good explanation posted by Kavious (I think?) - basically after an integer counter rolls over (or a pending windows update is in queue) these stop working. So just reboot once a month and you'll be fine.

I should add - it's a reboot not a shutdown/startup (unless you disable fast startup). Fast startup writes some memory to disk so it doesn't purge the counter in question.

Wow. I'd done a shutdown/startup cycle previously and just assumed that'd be the same as rebooting. Learn something every day. Rebooting fixed it. Thanks guys.
