^ yea for some reason I didn't get in on any of the middle school DC trips (thanks mom!) made for good everquest playing but I think I coulda used some seared into my brain + hormones power good washington DC memories.

Went to Banff and drove up through Jasper National park. Even though it rained, highly recommend the hikes and the drive. I doubt there’s much better in North America

Doing a routine brake pad change on the wife's van I noticed a pinhole leak in the cylinder seal on the caliper and evidence of leaked/burnt brake oil. She had been complaining about a funny smell and pedal softer than usual. This is "good" because it means the issue is identified before becoming a serious problem and doesn't leave her stranded anywhere.

It's "bad" in that I have to tear the thing apart again when we get the new caliper sent out, but that's life and I don't mind car work as much as computer work. At least a mallet is a valid tool to use on the car and that's always good stress relief.

He has his moments. The sketch they did on the daily show right after the smollet thing happened was hilarious, and they were actually honest about it.

I cant do it. You couldnt be more like a car salesmen trying to loosen me up if you tried. The note gag is funny though.
