I simply don't know which is #Classic, so I'm asking. I figured everyone would know what I'm talking about because everyone knows at least one Mage if they don't have one themselves :P.

SHeal should be 53 not 51

The reason for this post is because the wiki is a fallible resource. I am unsure if the devs are working off of information that I currently don't have in front of me. I didn't want to create a bug report without first consulting the community, nor did I want to go and edit the wiki.

My question still stands:

Are the spell scribe levels incorrect, or is the wiki?

If they are incorrect, then a bug report needs to be made (I'll be happy to write it). If they are correct, then we need to go in and edit the wiki (which I am also happy to do, though it would probably just be for the mage spells since that's what I main).

Hmm, looking at CII it seems that it was originally put in as 52 on Blue, then changed to 54 at some point. Perhaps this is a holdover from then? As for SHeal, it seems like that might be the opposite deal... the Velious change made into Green's Kunark Launch.

Thank you for calling this out. There are definitely a metric frickton of mages like you, and myself, using the Wiki and were shocked and appalled to discover the "Lvl 51" earth pet being Lvl 52. Which is correct?

UPDATE: According to Telin, it is intentional. They were apparently reduced by 1 level at some point later in Kunark's timeline. Now I'm on the hunt for when that is!

I believe the wiki does not accurately reflect the kunark spells based on kunark scribe level. they are reflecting current blue/velious scribe level(even though its filtered to a kunark obtained spell in wiki).

So far, I've been able to find that the Vocarate spells were 1 level lower than current as of December 2000 (we are currently at April 2000). I'll keep looking for earlier instances.

Interestingly, when I asked Telin about when they would be brought back to the level 51-54 range, he said he wasn't at liberty to tell me. I found that quite odd... like even if I do find the patch that reduced them, that might not be when the devs here decide to do it /shrug. Then again, it may just be the phantom armor regen thing all over again: patches don't go out as often so they tend to get lumped together.
