so.. swarm kiting doesn't work?
Kind of a gigantic issue because that was the main way to go in velious. I can't see the song bar disappearing issue helping much either.

Swarm kiting by means of DoTing the mobs down DOES work. It is just charm swarming that does not work here.

That was always called AOE kiting. Always.

The cast-bar issue is barely noticeable once you get used to it. It's not hard to watch for your song message, the song animation, or the particle effects. Or even just learn about how long 3 seconds is - after all, if you're a bard with no rhythm, you should probably just re-roll. :P

*Except where it wasn't.

AoE kiting = work.
Swarm kiting = doesn't work.

I'm pretty happy with the way bards function here, there are some slight song issues, and things such as a song buff bar still exist, but I believe most of it is being worked on, and there are no serious issues that would prevent me from playing my bard.

Have to agree with all that was said so far. No swarm kiting makes me sad, as it would be used, but other than that and spell bar dropping things are fine.

The thing that makes me laugh about this, and something that iirc isn't classic although it is possible th bug wasn't in till later, however it is still in live since at least PoP where i remember using it most. But if you lulled a mob twice it would be permanently lulled until it died or zone reset. Was fun logging in an hour early to lull everything on a path for people then jsut walk through =). And again it's still on live, they have been made aware but haven't fixed but this game was able to block that, makes me laugh.
