Sorry for having standards, though watching how mad everyone is getting about my comments (and not at the ones made by other posters), is fairly amusing. Why would you send a video you didnt like to people who didn't even play the game? Either you are lying to try and support your view that a comment on a YouTube video is wrong (which is insane for reasons other than it's just one person's opinion) OR you are in full rage-mode and can't stand that someone would make a positive comment on a video you didn't like.

The video isn't terrible. I probably would have thought less of it if your first post had not set my expectations so low.

It's a video showing some velious zones and raid bosses. It's not a short film. You have likely spent more time complaining about it than the guy took to edit it.

Not in velious. Raids didn't exist. Am I right? And raids are still 72 in pre-GoD zones I believe. Unless live changed things up.

Well, that's a valid complaint. Someone's sexual preference has no relevance to anything except who they want to sleep with/love.

Normally, it's just in good fun, but looking at the world right now I think its better we all avoid using remarks related to sexual orientation as a negative. The reality is that it's perfectly ok for a politician in the US to say "I dont think gays should be able to marry." Living with two friends currently looking to get married and seeing what they need to deal with, I've become a lot more aware of how such taunts do contribute to bigotry.

Even in a state that allows gay marriage, they were turned away from a place to hold their reception, simply because they are both women. It's insane that in 2011 people are so hateful of strangers over a matter of who they love.

It's difficult to stop referring to things as "gay," but I think it's a positive step we can all take. Sure, in the company of friends who know completely what context you are using such language it causes no harm, but in any type of public medium I feel a little restraint can go a long way to creating a positive environment for all.

This is a false dichotomy fallacy, as you have only presented two possible reasons for my actions when there is easily more than that. There isn't just two reasons I would've done this. As for the real reason I sent it to a few friends to look at (and I generally do not explain the reasons for my actions on forums), is because I wanted to hear what their opinions were on the video and see whether they matched up with mine or not.

Simple as that. Had nothing to do with being in "full rage-mode".

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good. I am entitled to constructively and civilly share my opinion. My post only became an issue when the RnF regulars decided I would be a fun target. That's the only time this entire thread became an "issue" and I don't appreciate being scapegoated for it when I was behaving civilly and within the rules of this forum.
