After abusing or neglecting one child, someone should be imprisoned for life or put to death, capitol punishment is necessary for life ending crimes. Not given the freedom to have more. If you don't think child abuse or neglect is life ending. I can't help you. Sterilization is actually far more gentle. Then allowing children to suffer. Children have rights too.

![]() Actually they do in the United States, love it or hate it. Of course civic programs, and healthcare programs should advice for healthy programs, and using contraception. But you have no right to have a government tell you how to eat, or force body changes. Now taxing foods that are extremely unhealthy IS a possibility but that just affects the poor, and lets the rich get away with stuff.

![]() If you knew how many trillions get pissed away to keep a barely conscious and in insane amounts of pain person alive in a puddle of their own colostomy drippings. We could probably afford to keep them alive, but not at free market prices.
You would likely consider my position. Our entire Healthcare industry is designed to farm the sick. For every penny they have, and then some from the deficit. It's completely off the rails. Criminals don't have the right to make babies. It's against prison rules. That's a privilege only responsible adults should be free to earn.

And I do believe we could codify the sterilization procedure through the criminal system as a punishment that isn't cruel and unusual. Appropriate, proportional to the crimes it should punish. Abuse. Neglect. Drugs. Life is hard. It isn't fair. People should get one chance. An education. And an opportunity to make some healthy habits. Not 20 chances when the world is on fire. We should reward exceptionalism. People have a right to understand the cost of screwing up and should be held accountable. Maybe some day we can experiment with absolute freedom, but I no longer believe in such an ideal. I believe simply in equality, justice, and merit. I'm all for ensuring the law gets applied equally regardless of socioeconomic status, religion, genome, or creed.
