![]() China has supplied weapons and logistical support to the Taliban for decades, and American presidents have ignored Beijing’s ties to the group, even when those weapons were used against American and NATO forces.
China’s embassy in Kabul has remained open in recent days, a sign Beijing worked out an arrangement with the Taliban during the swift failure of the Afghan government.

![]() If you're talking about Cannabis in California it is because there has been such a strong market for out of state weed in places that have legalized, that good california growers can price wherever they want.
Prices are down though from the same time last year, which is good news for white market enterprises and general white market consumers. Also, if you think good cannabis is like growing corn or tobacco you're totally clueless. Low quality junk can grow pretty easily, but good quality cannabis takes an incredible amount of care and patience. Regarding democrats vs republicans, anyone who thinks there is a significant divide between them is fooling themselves. They sell you down the river 10/10 times they get the opportunity to do so. Afghanistan happened because they were able to generate the political will in USA and internationally to take over a country. The defense industry and the people they pay off generated a zillion dollars from this. Everyone else on the planet loses. Mission accomplished. When you ask yourself "Why in gods name would anyone be stupid enough to let chinese foreign investors purchase homes all over vancouver with our own money" the answer is that someone more important than you profited greatly, and they don't give a shit about destroying your local economy and community, aka selling you down the river. If you ask yourself "Why in gods name is the housing "crisis" still a "crisis" it is because people more important than you continue to profit greatly from the current situation. The USA subsidizes home loans that are designed to make it possible for regular joe to buy a house instead of USA being full of land barons. What do banks do? Give home loans to people that already own homes because they are lower risk. these second / third / forth home loans are in fact business loans given at subsidized home loan rates to would be (and actually) mini land barons that then go on to complain about how hard it is to be a land lord LOL. These policies are easy to correct, but why would your senator correct them when they are doing so well under the status quo? Meanwhile inventing reasons for the regular victim citizen to hate one another. Good stuff. Afghanistan, we got involved like a bunch of idiots because a bunch of other idiots wanted to cash in on it, and did. USA takes a huge hit for being the same dumb toolbag USSR was and everyone else previously, but powerful people consider themselves stateless and don't give a shit. Just don't let these fucks convince you to kill and rat out your neighbor and you will be OK. Loving your neighbor is the only way you can stop this, because the rich don't have enough actual allies to do their bidding. You have to be tricked into doing it by hating your neighbor or some weird looking guy or whoever else. Choose to love the person that the wealth man is trying to convince you to hate, don't be cucked by your closeted lizard man oppressor and we will all be OK. And you don't have to love people because they are good, just because they are people. They have all the same feelings and dumb aspirations that you do. If they are deranged you feel sorry for them and care for them because their mind is fucked up. They want to convince you that there is some aspect of a meritocracy in the USA or anywhere in the world, because they really want to believe that they deserve the things that they have tricked and weedled out of the hands of the people they have robbed. Or, that they didn't just get lucky, which happens a lot. They tell themselves and their friends that they have earned it and develop reasons to feel miserable too so they can be just like you. Thats why rich people have such ridiculous drama. They need it to feel like a justified human being "its so hard being me, also!" not that they have any risk of not eating or sleeping comfortably or being stuck in an unsafe area unsupported or anything like that. They just create some mental misery so they can feel OK with having much much much much more than they need. For not helping when they could help. It's literally like a fat fuck laying on a couch while his wife and 5 year old child clean up after a huge debauched rager, and the fat fuck has a magical "instant clean" button but won't hit it because his wife and 5 year old child need to earn the clean home by doing it themselves, because he earned the button he stole by stealing it the old fashioned way and maybe if he presses the button too many times it might get sticky or something so he doesn't want to risk it.

![]() At least now the fat blue haired women on Twitter will be able to once again see what real oppression of women looks like. Might give them a little healthy dose of perspective, but probably not
