How about just good vs evil? Or did those servers have a neutral faction too?

Man I had a decent joke, but its not off topic section, or RNF.

Neutral team probably certainly sees themselves as good team, even though they are neutral team.

Interestingly, this is what happened on Tallon Zek. It was four-team ruleset (shorts v. humans v. elves v. evils) but the evil-team races we SO POPULAR that the sever basically became shorts+humans+elves vs evils. Still a huge problem though - the evils don't have BARD ACCESS. Which is a HUUGGGEE negative in outdoor PVP (as well as no resist songs for raiding)

So eventually ALL of the top guilds became "cross-team" guilds. Basically because you can't PVP against a guild who has ALL teams when your guild doesn't -- because some of those opponents will be invulnerable.
