Go to EK and grind on the Crag Spiders / occasional Griffawn that wanders by. Not only is there more available spawns to pick from (versus KFC which has 3 or 4 spawns for that level range that are always camped), you will make more money if you sell all the silk you get (and you get a LOT of silk). Or you can keep it for your own uses.
You can easily grind the spiders up to 27 or 28. The only hazard is poison but its not TOO deadly. There's also sometimes a wandering Evil Eye that can present problems if you're not careful, but I spent level 20-25 there and only ever saw him once. :P The amount of competition for this area varies though, but it's never so bad you're without mobs to kill.
