![]() TR was only mentioned because member(s) of TR were forwarding our internal forum posts around.
When we saw that there had a been a breach of access along with members of TR circulating internal information around the same time of that breach...many came to the conclusion that someone associated with them was probably involved in this. Of course the evidence isn't damning, but there's plenty of evidence that makes it more likely than not, that someone associated with TR was involved.

![]() Just because anyone can revive old dead threads I will.
Yes some people in TR had (prolly still have)access to the TMO boards. I made some ghost accounts prior to my departure. You prolly still can't see them, can you? I told Alkorin PHP was garbage to begin with but whatever. If anyone wants to know what goes behind the scenes on the TMO boards toss me a PM. That said I'm taking another 4 month hiatus from these boards.

Right now the average TMO member is thinking... who was the asshole in TR who did this? Right now the average TR member is thinking... who was the awesome former disgruntled TMO member who did this? The GMs and the remainder of the server, on the other hand, are thinking... What in the fuck will it take to shut these two up and make them go away?

![]() I fixed a pronoun that may have led to some confusion. I had originally put "it was obviously a TR member that had done it" when what I was referring to was entering the ranks of our guild. As far as the database hacking that is a timely coincidence that was only caught due to us being more alert. We had no reason to investigate any activity until we discovered the first spy or hacker. At that point it was a long list of IPs connected to proxy hosting services.

![]() The contents of that post are irrelevant, Barkingturtle. The bug's been fixed and I was never shy about telling people what was going on. All I got out of it was a couple illusions I shouldn't be able to use.
I am, however, absolutely baffled by the fact that we've got people logging in from proxies and dedicated hosting farms, using other peoples' credentials, just to spy on an EQ guild on an emulated server of a -game-. I'd like to note that I, myself, have not pointed any fingers at TR, but I have spent a great deal of time tracking down where these people have logged in from, and it really sucks that I have to spend my time doing this. I'd rather be playing the game. So, here's the deal. I don't care who's done/doing this. It doesn't matter. The internet is very large, and I will never catch you. What I ask is this: The TMO forums are hosted on my server. This is like my house. You are running through my house, uninvited. Get out. I don't care who you are, and I don't care why you're doing this, but you're ruining this experience for me and for others, and you have no right. If you are registered on the TMO forums, and you use the same username/password elsewhere, change it now. These people downloaded our database on the 25th of July. Forum passwords are typically easily broken using various software. You have been warned.

Actually I agree with the above quoted. It's nuts, in my professional opinion. You should all, we should all, everyone should take away from this and just about every bit of drama invented around these parts that this shit is a game. Ban TMO and TR, imo. For their own well-being.

Here's Loly posting a screenshot of IB's private forums. If TR ever has any problems with their website, Loly is obviously suspect number one.
