GM training works even though he says im too skilled
i was allowed to continue dumping skill points into make poison at over 100 skill. The gm said "You are more skilled than I! What could I possibly teach you?" but my skill went up and I lost a skill point each time.

When you zone, or gain a skill-point on your own, it'll revert to the max skill level trainable.
Bummer, but you don't get the points back either. I wasted about 50 skill points on alchemy like that. It's a bug, dev acknowledged, but not yet fixed.

The skill cap for poison is > 100 though. I'm pretty sure that's a different issue. Will test in a bit as well.

I'm reasonably sure that if you trained it to say 105, and then made a poison that gave you a skill-up, you'd find "You have become better at Making Poison! (21) not 106, since IIRC the max GM training can only be 20.
I could of course be wrong, but Alchemy and Jewelcrafting both are broken this way. It makes sense to me that all class-specific tradeskills would be. When I made my shaman I started slamming points into Alchemy and trained it to 50 with points. Then I made my first SoW pot, failed, and got the soul-crushing message "You Have become better at Alchemy! (21)
