Yeah, that's why they were disbanded by the staff ... for harmless role-playing [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
The official story was actually bullshit. We didn't have a racism problem - only such incident was Brother Ramal accidentally using the Ja-word in ignorance of its offensiveness. He apologized and everyone moved on.

A particular GM got aggrieved that our crew started smashing some blue content and that some Brothers stood in defense of our viewpoint. No good rabblerousers!

Say what you want about a couple of the members of DMO but I never experienced racist interactions with basically all of them. The vast majority were extremely helpful in game and the Erudite superiority roleplay was really funny and helped to make the EQ experience we've all done a thousand times not as stale.
Thanks for your input. This is really what it was all about for us. As green's first guild, and being tied for first place on the server, the essence of superiority we demonstrated didn't really take much effort. But the other Erudite roleplay elements and lore were immensely fun to explore and share with the community. I still sometimes go and read through our old Discord channels to experience this joy again. If everyone here was worthy of access to The Great Tome of Odus and its many chapters, I would share its details, but sadly there is a preponderance of Antonican heathens in these parts.

Blackface claims are absurd and have no basis in fact.

We knew that dumb bitches would sometimes get immediately rustled by a male-only Erudite-only guild due to such ignorant assumptions. This is part of what fueled our intense immersion into all Eruditious. We upheld the traditions of Erud and the rules of the server better than anyone. We knew the staff and the players with three-digit base INT would see this and that it was fully about being an Erudite, and they did. Literally nothing changed with regard to this leading up to our disbanding - what changed is a rageaholic former GM got mad for being wrong and argued with and pushed for it with the staff. It's pretty gross actually.

I made a video about Master Jack's early adventures in Norrath about the time I stopped playing green mostly. I'd never made an actual edited video before - just some simple clips - and learned how so I could share Jack's adventures with everyone. This sort of stuff is what made DMO a tight crew and the most fun Everquest experience I ever had. It's also proof that Master Jack was the server-first Erudite.

Eruditions, shuffle-board brain.

Erud would not tolerate necromancy. There's a reason you don't know this.
