Items received during the event will not disappear after the event ends.

We reserve the right to wipe non-classic items from the game at any point. There are no plans to do so in the immediate future, but I will never say never.

My guess is opening them yourself and ruining your faction "putting you on the naughty list" makes it so you stop getting them to drop. I got 4 presents in a few hours the first day opened them all getting faction hits; and now haven't gotten a drop in two full days. Could be wrong, maybe the rng. Please share if you've had a different outcome.
