It prob would have been faster to use the fire pots in Timorous Deep. I remember one time my friend and I raced. The boat was at the docks in TD, but he chose to run to the fireports instead (albeit with levitation, and jboots), and he made it to City of Mist like 30 minutes before me.

Wonder how it would've turned out without JBoots. Probably not too much differently I guess. The Cab vicinity to CoM is significant
