Rogean Shared the agreement they had with Daybreak. Megachad shared it i think in raid discussion mid august 2025, in GG discord. Basically p99 could theoretically continue expansion releases (IF they wanted to..per the agreement) through Dungeons expansion, post Froglok launch...BUT as Rogean has stated early on in the p99 forum announcements..they have no interest and p99 is all about classic -> velious expansions before it was sold off to Sony. But still interesting.

Rogean is master negotiator. Nothing surprises me from a guy who graduated high school at 12.

The existing servers only get a couple hundred players each at peak... a new server would spell certain death for this game. Merger is the only option for survival.

Merging server creates a funnel of effect for people considering leaving. There is just one server?

Simple logic dictates within two months that single merged server will have only a couple hundred players peak. Please, Leonidas, listen to your reason!

It's very simple imo. Use the path of exile method. Merge current blue/green servers into a "standard" server and start a fresh new server. After a few years merge that server into "standard" and create another fresh one.

People come back for new servers it is always a good time.
