lol. I guess this is the outcome of nerfing bards and banning them from all the other zones?
The druid is still PLing the monk in the 50s. Seen in City of Mist yesterday.

Gotta say, if I was a raiding member of this guild, I would have absolutely 0 interest in having a monk that was PLd the entirety of their time. How the hell can you earn skills like that?

Probably just some shitter's alt, who is getting ready to get a Priceless Fistwrap and then outbid "main" monk players on NToV drops by AFKing in camp and auto-attacking on encounters.

This is why I don't raid.

Shit's classic, son. I'd give you some plat in recognition of the excellent advice you've given me in the past but I don't want to take away from you the feeling of accomplishment when you're finally able to afford, uh, Shielding or whatever.

But if you don't have a copy of Breeze yet I'll come bring you one. That one's a pain in the ass to get.
haha no worries

i did a couple full inventories worth at sisters and managed to get all the useful spells through 20, im cookin!

gonna hit 20 in unrest, pop new animation, purge inventory, and head out to OOT gargoyle island til my inventory is chock full of eyes

Yeah Monk is one of the classes you really need to play before you raid to get used to splitting and things like that. Obviously, it won't teach you everything you need to know for the raid scene, but if you've never played a Monk before because you just got PLed to 60 and now you're trying to do things like pull in HoT/NToV you're not going to be useful to the guild.

tfw people make a class that requires 3 buttons to play demands serious skill to play

is split pulling intuitive? nope, but auto attacking mobs in south karana or OT isn't going to teach you much

been a green player on and off since 2022. i did a stint from 2022-2023, another from late 2024-early 2025. and after some time away i got the itch to log back in.

but after just a few weeks back i gotta say this place (green) has really lost its luster. on tuesday night i tried to bring a group to solusek's eye, but there was a druid powerlevelling a monk in there and he was pulling like 20+ mobs at a time. he wouldnt respond to tells asking him where he was pulling from, and didnt leave much for us so we left.

Sometimes people are just not that great. Did you try mistmoore?

the next night i tried my level 57 shm in velks but got trained and died by someone who released their pet kobold without warning, just a few minutes into my play session.

Velks is sketchy, you want to go to Geonids in WL or The Hole at 57.

tonight like a masochist i logged back in this time again on my level 34 toon and the only zone anyone is congregating in is mistmoore, and there no room in groups.

34 is a rough level but try to start a lower guk group.

maybe i had more time back then, but each session this week has been a serious bust and has taken up loads of my time. i was frustrated by another player being antisocial, some bad luck and lack of options each day across 3 days. the only "fun" that was had over the course of 2-3 hours of playing over 3 days was getting a group together, but that fun was quickly dashed by the druid powerleveller when we got there. i think like they say, 3 strikes your out.
