Get a Triumph. British engineered. Unique bikes with history. They make crotch rockets AND cruisers. The harley riders appreciate them, if that matters, as do the sport bike crowd.

New they are spendy, but if you are lucky you can find one used from a guy who never rides his and wants to get rid of it. Friend of mine bought a 95 Thunderbird in mint condition for dirt cheap and its a real head turner.
