Warriors are alright. Access to generally better weapons than hybrids, including a super easy 2hander with 25dmg which will make you great pvp dps until people start getting vox spear or the 30dmg weapons from planes. Crits mean you can do considerable burst damage even though it's not very reliable and kinda rare, but still it's pretty brutal to smack a caster for a max damage crit and then a second max damage normal hit from double attack
innate mr means you don't have to wear so much resist gear to hit the critical mr value, allowing you to wear some hp gear or fr/cr gear. Depending on how the final resist system pans out, it might not be worth wearing fr/cr gear at all until you can get insane amounts, so you'd be able to sit at 100-120ish mr while also having like +250 hp in gear
If you roll an ogre warrior like a non-retard and wear 250 extra hp in gear, you'll be at something like 2500 unbuffed which is huge when casters have like 1k and hybrids/rogues/monks have 1500-1800ish. 2500 hp means you'd survive three full ice comets and many casters won't have the mana to take you out by themselves at all
alternately you can have 2250ish hp while wearing decent fr/cr gear if the resist system makess that worthwhile. a hybrid or caster can't get respectable levels in all three main resists without the absolute best pvp gear
Of course in kunark warriors get even better and their various discs let them do huge damage while hybrid damage doesn't really go up except from the better weapons you can get. All the 3 pure melees get huge buffs in kunark and top geared warriors, rogues and monks will probably be among the strongest pvp units then
