Look it needs to go dude. I have friends grouping with mages right now. Right now it allows lvl 24 pets to do as much damage as or more than a 50 warrior. Pets are already able to reliably hit things that would be 4+ levels to them. The proc is completely unresistable.
It is broken in pve AND pvp. So what some people used it to level? I've played MMOs long enough to know there's people who exploit to get ahead and usually they stay ahead. This doesn't mean the bug needs to remain and shit things up more. | ||

I'd think and hope this is a scenario where the devs say "I know why you all want to keep this" but it has to go :P. Bugs like these aren't "content" and certainly weren't ever announced as intended.

At this point it's damage control. Pop is suffering the biblically long grind while a few sploited to 50 and proclaimed victory.
Steroids are illegal and any champion who is caught is punished and he should lose his belt. Remove exploit. Rollback the known exploiters and take away all their illegally farmed gear. Happy grinding!

A permanent solution that I would be in favor of is removing this, wiping the server, and implementing a permanent 15-35% xp boost.
All the things that were supposed to be 'tested' and removed were actually 'tested' and exploited on the launch. All the 'elites' will come back to regain their elite status, don't worry... and other people who have left the server because of the exploiters will come back too. Treat as Beta 2.0

 it's like you make the atomic bomb (server) and you don't want to let other countries (guilds) have nuclear secrets (under the radar information). it's gm's business and no one else's or else everyone gets nuked. letting Iran or North Korea beta test and keep the successful nukes, makes other countries uncomfortable. | ||
