Oddjob had to oust me from the guild and teach you how to play ench so you'd even have a shot at being the main ench. All ya'll have is Mellowyellow who gets no respect from the guild, and Glimmer who ya'll use and don't even give him a shot at a tranix crown. Oh and Renian he seems alright, pretty quiet, but more than likely just being used by you guys like I was with a immature lack of appreciation. WE HAVE BOSSES TO KILL!

Its the inevitable conclusion to the custom xp loss mechanic on red99.

Holocaust before server opened bragged about how they had 45 people and would dominate the server.

Another guild, it could have been any guild really, counter zerged.

Why zerg? Cause thats how you win, and the custom xp loss, no matter what anyone says, hurts. Holocaust used that zerging tactic first, and it blew up in their faces. Their shitty personalities made the guild self-implode and is too cruel niche "lets laugh at the guy in a wheelchair" to attract more than a few sociopaths.

If theres no xp loss, or is trivial, numbers count, but not as much.

Im not saying there should be no penalty to dying.

A couple of solutions were offered, such as reverting to the Rallos death penalty, respawning with low health and no mana.

This way you could have pvp'd all day and then when you were done, could pick up pve wherever you left it off.

Zerging and people getting griefed off the server is a direct consequence of the xp loss mechanic, now softened with the xp bonus tweak.

You can hardly blame Nihilum for having played the numbers game, and its really funny to see Holocaust pointing fingers when they were there first.

Now theyre crying cuz with their douchebag personalities, they cant keep up the roster.

Im still having a blast playing, but this is what i think is the problem.

XP loss should be if not removed, at least lessened from say 1-40. Ive heard that a resist patch is coming. Im going to be sad if this is the death blow to the server because you have unkillable twinks running around deleveling people.

Pointing the finger at nihi is stupid. Dont you want a server to play on? Then think about what i just typed.

Holocaust down to 6 members left from their earlier zerg of 45. Confirmed beaten at all aspects of the game. Starwars time.

Started with Lovey and those big plays chain killin holocaust, ending with 3 of them waiting hours in feerrot on a Sunday night stareing at jungle vines, while other guilds clear fear.

Kinda sad really. But.. we did warn you that this was not going to be a VZ/TZ hack box. Shame it took several bannings, suspensions and guild disbanding for it to sink in.

Play by the server rules from now on imo and enjoy classic EQ. Or.. there is always starwars time.

P99 was full of cheaters and more people were banned from p99 that has played vztz at once.

THAT was the first major exploiting red99 had in a large group.

The FIRST single player exploit that happened on red99 was lovely sploiting wands to gain levels. A wand that GMs took action against.

Lovely is why Nihilum even exists.
