This is also one of the best Warrior soloing weapons. Yeah, warrior soloing.. who would have thought. Warrior with this and fungi could solo all the way to 50 easily.
and you have time to make a sandwich between swings ;p

this weapon is good for massive opening blow, then just switch to your regular weapon set. Its worth it for soloing....no doubt about that.

I sold one to Iksar vendor in Warslik Wood last week. Would keep it if I could use it.

I use weighted axe on my SK for precisely this reason: opening hits are ridiculous, especially if you get a double attack. Sometimes I'll switch it in every now and then after casting spells too. For an opener the weighted axe is boss, just make sure to switch it out heh.

If anyone is looking for one of these I've got one they can have. I've tried giving it away but most people don't understand what it's good for and just laugh at the ratio.

It's great for jousting, too. And no, you don't HAVE to have a horse to joust. Duoing with my brother's bard I would sometimes use one for a laugh when Selo's was up. Run past the mob, SWISHHH! Run a little bit, turn around and come back, SWISHHHH! It was pretty effective, actuallly. Just have to keep turning attack off after you passed the mob and turn it back on just as you come into melee range. And it really reduced the mob's DPS if he could only get one swing at me (it would really suck though if I got stunned just as I was starting to pass him, but...c'est la vie).

Pets will not use weighted axe due to hidden NO PET tag that still hasn't been removed.

They will use other 2h weapons and swing for 2x listed weapon damage however (at least nec pets do).
