Collaborative evidence: devnoob announces kunark on LoZ, 30-50+ from r99 leave to play there and no less than a dozen retired Nihilum roll up chars over there to play.

I can tell you it wasn't for yellow text, hot zones, or fast leveling. It wasn't just for pvp either, because LoZ max players is still half of what r99 had 3 months ago when most of those players quit.

If Red99 was healthy, those people wouldn't be playing on LoZ.

They did NOT leave red99 because of no Kunark. They left because of the insanity that was Red99's growing pains.

its like, 60 in under a week. Bugs with every class. Bugs with all mobs pathing/abilities/dmg. Free items, 100% rare spawns, 100% loot. Broken pvp/broken resists.. in fact, nothing about the server actually works. People boxxing numerous clients, showEQ/macro quest and all the hacks that go along with it.

But there is pvp, if you dont care about every facet of EQ being compromised in the process. Counterstrike with elves and swords.

Dullah is the minister of disinformation. Give LoZ a shot and judge for yourself. The ruleset itself makes up more than enough for the bugs that are fixed on a daily basis by the extremely active server leadership. There is more pvp in a night than R99 had in a week with 500 pop.


Just goes to show how awesome this server could have been with the right rules and leadership.

Also, as someone who had never played with YT/leaderboard before LoZ, holy shit it makes the pvp so much more meaningful and exciting.

There's rules in LoZ lol. Also having to fix bugs daily and still haven't fixed them all after 2 years has to mean that server is really really shitty.

Levels 50-60 actually slow down A LOT. The named may spawn more often but they don't drop the common/rare nearly as often. Old world items are actually really hard to get to drop. Also it is custom on Kunark as far as drop rates. Some of the lesser gear is easier to find but the rarer items are even rarer. Not really bugs with classes. I have seen some arguments with bards on the server but then again people complain about it on red99 too. Hacks aren't an issue. Boxing is limited to 2 and if you are max level in meaningful zones you will get cleaned up if you are 2 boxing. It isn't really an advantage over other players. It is for convenience and fun while you aren't in groups with others.
