I *thought* his dispell was only single target, but here it is AE. Which would allow for you to tank it and let pet crush from behind.

Just started messing around w/ a 60 enchanter in seb, got a few things done [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Duo'd mobs were done with either my warrior or monk, monk solo'd rokyl. Oh and duo'd phinny many times with my mage and another mage or necro.

Sebilis was quiet. And NG was a full spawn. So I decided to try to solo it with Frida, my 58 bard. I was lucky the roamer was a non summoner knight. It took me 10 minutes to kill it, but at least I killed it.

So I ended with a necrosis scarab single, down to 40%. And while it took me 2 minutes to get there, the rest of the fight was about to take about 25 minutes.

Mezz and heal up for 5 minutes, melee it for 30 seconds. 5% hp at a time... i didn't expect it to take that long, otherwise I would have gotten another pet. But it was late and i was feeling lazy.

And then a crypt group showed up and started killing frogs around NG. So soon enough, there was nothing left to charm.

I marked it S* because eventually the krup roamer respawned and that crypt group killed it. Even though I probably could have been able to charm the roamer and finish the necrosis scarab with it.

Anyway, after a good 30 minutes fight, it finally went down (loot was Cane of Tranquil and a ruby) :

I duo Efreeti quite regularly with either a bard or a cleric.

That being said, with a cleric, one time I said "let me try to solo Efreeti lord." This was a few minutes before the pop. Clicked off symbol/hero, then one of the imps popped. I rooted the imp with a Net and popped Aggressive disc on Djarn when he was up.

It was an easy as fuck fight. I resisted 90% of what Djarn threw at me, he got a couple partials in there on Cold spells. (Pretty much the only thing he can land on me when I have my MR up to 170+ without even using a Greater Null pot). Makes me want a Seahorse cloak cause occasionally while duoing I've eaten a full Ice Comet.

I kept the add off with root nets for the 3 minutes it took me to kill Djarn. I ended the fight with about 40% hp, just about to hit zerker rage. Use Dagas/Jagged Sword of Mourning as weps (I don't have epics yet) and stacked MR gear.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this counts as a solo or duo, cause we had already broken into his room as a duo. It was me versus Djarn and I raped him.

I'd be interested to know what people think on this subject. To be a full solo kill, would I have to solo clear all the way into his room? I'm dependent on root nets for CC as a warrior, but I'd love to be able to put down a Full Solo on Djarn in the next month.

You had a [S*-] I think.

Melee, unlike casters, are allowed buffs from other players and a kill still counts as "solo", so you actually didn't have to click off the cleric buffs. But using a root net is a strong clicky that gives you the "-" and djarn's room starting off cleared with a partner gives you the "*" because you didn't do the pull yourself.

Imo you don't need to solo all the way from the entrance of a zone to the pull of your target in order for it to count as a solo WITH pull kill (although some people feel differently, I think). I'd say whatever room/camp the target mob is in needs to be fully spawned and handled only by you to avoid having the * on your kill. You will have a hard time doing most any kill as a warrior without strong clickies for CC, but everyone who reads this thread understands that seeing a warrior kill something in HS north, even if he had to use 8 root nets to make it happen, pulled off something pretty difficult and unusual.

I was at crypt and heiro was open so I started killing the ph. Next pop was heiro and I almost had him. Got him to 40% pretty fast but then I mistakenly tried to nuke him down rather than just heal pet. He kept healing and healing and I eventually had to gate out. He also had the sword though and those procs were eating up Fluffy. I really want to try him again.
