Agreed for a teams setup, but this does not make sense for FFA ruleset.

Nildog, I'd encourage you to look at any incentive to get a few zones (out of the 100'ish) up to "classic" population/activity (say 15+ people in them).

LoZ has hotzones which I think works very well. For Kunark I think this is really easy. I would personally rotate between the 3 good high level Kunark dungeons (Seb, KC, Chardok) and have Lake of Ill Omen on hotzone status permanently (solid mid level zone, very fun to pvp in). Two is the right number for this -- one high level, one mid level.

Don't have to force people into them + a huge exp bonus isn't necessary, either. Just the highlight/callout alone would be enough.

the HZ would be a hgue plus to the community imo as well as the LOIO idea, that would drag more newbs to explore kunark content as well!

*whine* I voted yes it should display location.. The only reason the normal(not banned from blue99 for exploiting or some other reason) person would play on this server is for the aspect of PvP. What better way to promote pvp on the pvp server than to display when someone is killed and where they were killed. If you do not want pvp or the threat of pvp while you play EQ then go play blue99. *whine*

Voted no, because that takes opportunity for community interaction out of the mix. Makes reputation count for less.

Less automation, less game-on-rails, the better. There should be a place for comunication and a role for scouts, on a red server.

Its hilarious how some of you don't realize the server has a low population.

These hopes and dreams of a grand network of scouts, spies, reports, and information is tough to come by with a few dozen players spread out over 100 zones.

i think that would be pretty sweet imo the maps could help draw others to pvp in zones controlled by an opposing faction
