![]() Please Alarti. We all know the cockblocking when Velious comes out will be epic. TMO of course will not be the only one doing it, they'll just be more effective/organized and less employed (had to throw that in there) than some others. When Kunark came there were 1000 people on the server. We are back to that population now almost, and god knows how many people have quit waiting for Velious. I predict that population will be 1000-1500 depending on the time of day the first few months after Velious releases. So probably 1000 people will be straight L60. In addition, unlike Kunark there is no leveling to be done. So everyone will go straight for the gear zones. Which means there will be 200+ people each in Kael, Skyshrine, Plane of Growth . . .
Now lets consider Kunark: half the number of people, and what did people do: massive cockblocking. TR had the crypt monopolized, Pwny was at the King all day, hell your guild went and tried to get all of the lockets in Droga. Multiply this by 10 and you get Velious. There is only 1 solution imo: a new server that launches at precisely the same time as Velious so people have to choose.

Anyway, I logged on real quick and /who all count -> 600 while /who all 50 60 count -> 200. Considering the number of people with high level chars who play EC mules or alts or what not, I would be shocked if 50% of the active players on the server don't have a L50+ character. Combine this with the people who have high level chars but don't play because they got bored waiting for Velious, and I think my 2/3 50+ estimate is quite reasonable. Suppose I am wrong, though and only 1/3 is 50+. That still leaves 500 players across the high level zones. More than enough to hold everything down. Meanwhile lets look at your own guild. According to your roster you have 112 people who are more or less active. Suppose you have 50-60 come back for Velious and that the average play time is 8 hours per day. 180/3 = 60 on at all times. So you can have 40 wiping to Aaronyar and 20 holding down say East ToV 24/7. I suppose you are just anxious to forget those Droga days [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I rememer some hilarious threads about TMO spies back in the day. edit: I would like to add that I don't have any huge issues with how TMO behaves as a guild. You guys at least sell the stuff don't need on the market, even if your prices are outrageous. In the end you guys can play however you want as long as you abide by the server rules. My problem is with the system that forces players to compete on tracking hours and the desire to batphone in to kill stuff at 3AM. edit2: how dare you guys dock my hero Crazyeyes 300+ dkp!
