Assuming the Velious spdat was from live, it would've been far more accurate to have used that and reconciled Kunark-era differences with archived evidence than to implement beta data that obviously never went live.

It's a beta Kunark spdat dated March 14, 2000.

Some of these spells you want changed in this thread have cast time/mana cost/damage that are the same as this Kunark beta one but differ in the Velious /shrug.

I find myself agreeing with Ruprecht.

Can anyone give me any examples of player spells that changed between kunark and velious? (and no, not by using that kunark beta spdat)

With the devotion many people had to their particular class, spell "nerfs" would of sent shockwaves through the fan site community. Where are they?

Divine Barrier removes natureskin line because of the regen.

I have no idea about DB -- back in 2002 the regeneration in slot4 was changed to a heal instead.

But here's the thing: Skin like nature and natureskin do not have a slot4, the regeneration component was on slot5.

So it should stack and these spells should be fixed.

I'd use Velious sp.dat and patch notes from there for stacking.

You get like no information about stacking on these patch notes and the 2002-03 is when they started using lucy.

everything in between release and then is next to impossible to "prove".
