My example doesn't fit the "working free" part, but.. Mutable Realms (WISH) was insanely stoked about their game until they closed the doors during beta. I still miss my donkey!

I can certainly understand one set of devs supporting another, however, while the bonus' this time around aren't that game breaking it's a very slippery slope. Honestly I was already a backer for Pantheon, so I'll change my names to receive the rewards. I disagree with them being tradeable for one thing, but mostly I worry that the devs will see this as successful and do it for other things. It should be a one time deal.

Also, Brad McQuaid is now a GM? Aradune seen in game with a GM tag? I love McQuaid for what he did to everquest as much as the next guy, but err seriously?

I would buy some of those in-game goodies, but that's RMT'ing! For a good cause or not, this is the most hypocritical thing yet on this server. There is a game that may be as kickass as classic EQ in the making, do people really need more incentive than that???
