[Shark Fillet] confirmed, but this is an odd recipe, and there seem to be a few others like it.

I have noticed that there are several Velious recipes that seem to produce the *exact same item* as classic/kunark recipes, such as:

Shark Fillet (Oyster Sauces & Algae Spices vs. Jug of Sauces & Spices)
Mammoth Steaks (Oyster Sauces & Algae Spices vs. Jug of Sauces & Spices)
Beer Braised Mammoth (Oyster Sauces & Algae Ale vs. Jug of Sauces & Short Beer)
Beer Braised Wolf (Oyster Sauces & Algae Ale vs. Jug of Sauces & Short Beer)

I confirmed this with the [Shark Fillet] by making one with the classic spices and sauces, and one with the oyster sauces and algae spices, and the results of both combines stacked together as "Shark Fillet"

I cannot test the Velious "Beer-Braised" recipes because of a current issue crafting [Othmir Algae Ale] (http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=149625), but I imagine they also produce the same exact item as the classic sauce and beer recipe.

Does anybody know if these two different recipes were actually intended to produce the *same exact* resulting meal, or should there Velious-specific "Beer Braised Mammoth/Wolf" results?

Sylexis, I was very excited when I saw these two items because of the implications of their appearance on this list. (It implied that the dairy spoon and filleting knife would be available in Velious)

However, after hours of research and testing, it pains me to say [Fish in Cream Sauce] should not be in Velious, because in order to produce [Cream] (a downstream component of [Fish in Cream Sauce]), you need a [Dairy Spoon], which did not exist until the May 2002 patch (Luclin).

If those recipes aren't there, then is there any use for the weary wrass fish that i missed or is it not supposed to be in game yet?

The Weary Wrass fish was added to the magelo db in August of 2001, so it exists in Velious, however it cannot be prepared or baked because the Filleting Knife combine and the Cream combine do not work until Luclin.

I just copied my character over to beta and buffed up thanks to the new 60 buff. I'll work on the Mining Picks quest from Great Divide, no ETA as of yet but saw that quest was open so thought I would start there. Afterwards I will work on armor quests.
