Competition and scarcity are a couple of things that make EQ so fun.

Otherwise why not just host a private server with exactly the number of friends you need to kill PVE encounters that could have been scripted by a 10 year old and whose minimal fight strategies were mastered well over a decade ago?

hint: it's because EQ just isn't that fun in a vacuum like red

Just letting you blueies know that sitting FD'd with a monk @ Lady Mir's spawn point with you finger hovering over your javelin button for 16 hrs is one way 2 see dragons.

On the other hand you could join red and have a blast while seeing dragons at set times then logging off to pash your boyfriend or cat or whatever makes u feel happy after EQ.

Not true, my friend! We're much more civilized on Blue these days and settle things with a good old fashioned foot race when the person watching the dragon lets us know it's up on Skype.
