There's neither a time nor a place for Rangers.

My group is Enc, Cle, Wiz, Wiz, Wiz =p
What about tracking for rare spawns and pulling? Ranger DPS has to be comparable to enchater DPS considering downtime for enchanter to med etc?

Bard, Rogue, Rogue, Rogue, Rogue, Cleric
or better yet
Bard, Warrior (at 30% hp), Warrior (at 30% hp), Warrior (at 30% hp), Warrior (at 30% hp), Cleric

If you've been in a bard snare group in CoM you know what I'm talking about. Bard snare = permanent aggro. So many crippling strikes...so many...

yay my class is only in 4th place.

I was a little bias with my choices because of the buffage. :-)

CLR ENC MAG WAR ROG RNG

People underestimate Rangers, they can be a competent EVERYTHING when they need to be. I main healed a group on my ranger in Oasis at the orc highway for like an hour at level 15. Yeah, with MINOR healing.

Ranger can CC with root and Snare, they can DoT (Not well) in a caster group. They can melee well enough to out perform a Paladin or SK, and they can even tank, not better than other tanks, but better than a chanter.

I love rangers in groups. My main on live was a ranger though, so I'm biased.

Your not biased. You just know how they work, via being one. I agree, there can be some bias there, but as i said. Experience with the class, allows you insight into their usefullness.
