I'm not using it in the momentary lapse sense of the idiom. More like permanently scarring. Bad judgement. Fucking stupid parenting.

Im sittin out da front wiff 5 kids literally interacting with each other IRL!
2 10yr olds, and 11 and 2 13. Riding bikes and comparing kx80's to husky 50's and 80's. The 2 13's just left to fix their scooter tyre.

You guys live in the wrong country or look at the wrong things.

When was the last time you looked out the front? Also I live in a dead end street with 4 houses. 2 are empty.
Neighbour has permanent footy goal posts up. Footy is ultimate pvp. No sign of salaryman though. Which is prolly a good thing I 'spose.
Life sure does suck here.
