Hmm, you know it's a fair point on it's face, but I'm not sure an RMT scheme would work for this. While you could definitely fudge guild records and be like "see, the plat person A got was for DKP they transferred to Person B" in practice Person A would've needed to be a member of Lineage during that time and have accumulated DKP. So there's no real viable way to make this work since it's not like all the people trying to buy plat from you are going to be longer term Lineage members.

Would love to hear your thoughts on taxation versus inflation and how it impacts economic purchasing power of normal citizens, your thoughts on dictatorships selling natural resources while barring their citizens from engaging in for profit economies, and your thoughts on actual ownership versus gaining access to assets via debt.

Just to be clear:

1. It seems like OP is still correct based on the written rules. If the rules are wrong, you honor them and then fix them for the next time.

2. The way you deal with last-minute sleeper bids is to not close the auction until some fixed time after the last bid. It is not to close auctions randomly.

3. The whole concept of the discord auction closing because of a quake sounds terrible. The controversy was self-inflicted by the people who made such a rule in the first place.
