there's so many vulnerabilities in the shitter exchanges it's not even funny, with enough of a certain coin you can do like man in the middle type attacks to bring down entire exchanges or networks or w/e the fuck the terminology is. same goes for the tor network and rendering the traffic no longer anonymous if you control enough entry and exit nodes
i'm prolly half wrong about this cause its been awhile since i watched some security talks on it, but the talked i watched from HOPE or Defcon was about how nation states can basically fuck this shit up whenever they want but monitoring it and doing nothing is way more productive

Yeah no way the goverment is going to do a digital coin reserve after this year.
Im pretty much over crypto, even if there was a decent coin out there, you know like the people that would profit off it being successful are only corrupt, disgusting, criminals. Like I genuinely am in the anti crypto group now, Ill still bag hold a few of them but I get it. It's ruined after this like, "hey its COOL to rug pull!" shit the entire community has embraced. If we ever use one, we need to crate a fresh token that costs like $1000 each right out the gate.

yeah the meta is crazy on rugpulling, i was watching some interview with this kid and his basic stance was "if i don't someone else will" which is the same logic that led to people using fte assist scripts here that ruined raiding lol.

You know, it didn't even dawn on me, WHO had the ETH before the north koreans collected it...
Who lost all those coins? Was it just like thousands of users that used a trading app like robinhood or someshit that got hacked?

yeah.
it's usually an exchange, so anyone stupid enough to hand their coins to a third party service to trade them on. when there literally zero laws about this shit, once exchanges themselves start doing rugpulls everything not BTC is going to zero in like 30minutes.
