It's true. Pedigree exponentially improves opportunity. It's untrue to say that your potential and skill does not also make opportunity.

You can start with low pedigree and realize potential to create opportunity, achieve success, and breed with a person who has a higher level of pedigree. Then your children start at a significant advantage because of the merit of your life.

Fun fact. It's not about you. It's about breeding up to make better humans with higher survival rate and colonizing other star systems.

old money is old becuse they work hard at making sure their family knows how to handle it, unlike your parrents who thought the public school system would solve their parental crisis.

FURTHERmore, what you want is you want to have security and benefits that kids born to families that weren't as retarded as yours, so you can remain unemployed while you continue your families long tradition of teaching their kids that they can be the first zebra astronaut (or whatever you want to tell them to not stifle their youthful spirit) while the children of parents who raised them to be adult bad asses have to "pony up" what their parents fought your beatnick parents from steeling in the 70's. Just another attempt to grab onto something that wasnt earned, in a family tradition of sucking life from other people.

Nah. But just look at how easy that story is to believe.

I'm good test taker. But I doubt If I get a 180 on my LSATs I could ever in a million years get into a top law school. I'm a 31 year old white man -- just too old to be promising and there is nothing sad or unique about a 31 year old white man.
