ayup.

real artists don't give a flying fuck, they don't get dopamine hits from posting their doodles online. and this culling will hopefully reverse the modern art trend of literal fucking garbage
I've been wondering if AI being able to generate any generic piece of artwork, would push humans to create things that AI can't

Yeah James Franco can disappear into any role, very underrated actor, gets in his own way tho he cares more about the art then the film

Do we really think AI is gonna do better then marlon brando, harrison ford, tom hanks, etc

I wonder how long it will be before this is possible, like a request that simple could net you a solid 10 episode series that had consistent characters, storyline, and all that.

I think first of all they need to go back to the older chat GPT that hallucinated. I think all the stuff they did to stop AI hallucinations totally messed up the creative responses. It's like talking to dilbert now.

I used to have it make me short stories and id get stories that were so sick and now they're so awful and generic.

it's 100% *possible* right now but the compute cost to render 10 episodes of anime like you described would be pretty expensive, like you'd have to use LLMs to do the quality control on other LLMs work and the resulting wasted rendered frames makes it still not worth it, i assume.

it's basically like that infinite monkeys in a room with type writers will eventually produce the works of Shakespeare type shit on some level but not as exaggerated

so the math prolly doesn't work on a personal level yet but i'm less sure about a just random anime show being created that way to be put on netflix or Crunchyroll or w/e

A decent 13 episode anime costs in between 1.5 to 2 million dollars. That's counting the production, marketing and merchandise.
yeah.... idk what % of that is production but if the lines on the graph of human artists vs AI haven't already converged they will soon on the costs

He's the reason humans haven't beat AI.. I mean, the reason you don't see him in movies anymore.

All the good artists were canceled.

Shakespeare would have been canceled.
