Clothing - like flannel or leather - can keep one or both of the probes from penetrating the dermis and completing the circuit. even a few layers of cotton, fleece, or a loose hoodie can keep the taser probes from a solid connection. In those cases, you will not be happy when the perp doesn’t drop. PCP will not shield you from a properly deployed taser hit that has solid contact. Period. Some people confuse tasers with stun guns. Stun guns use pain compliance - which can be shrugged off if you are tough enough or on a drug that blocks pain receptors. Like PCP. Tasers? IF the circuit is completed, they send an electrical impulse that ‘speaks’ to the neurons and shorts them out. When the body is overwhelmed by this signal, it overrides the body’s natural signal and down ya go. A lot of this is hitting social media because LA has had less then stellar results. It seems that they are not properly trained, are using them improperly, or are shooting perps who are too far away. 15–20 feet seems to be the recommended range, though there is a self-contained shotgun shell variant that has a little more ‘reach out and touch someone’. Not sure if anyone uses them in the US.

That wasn't even panic fire. Its worse than panic fire. In the heat of the adrenaline, she just put more pressure on the trigger than she should have, whilst forgetting/ignoring the finger placement of the ready condition position. Her reaction to firing her own gun is surprise. i do hope this one goes down as hard as chauvin. Daunte wright should still be alive to face the charges of the outstanding felony warrants that he had, prior to the incident.

You guys have to think about the type of person that police work attracts. I genuinely feel like one of the reasons that a lot of murders go unsolved is that very few intelligent people join the police force for the same reason that very few intelligent people join the Marine Corps.
Almost anytime you review a cold case file or see a case that is finally solved after a long time, the main reason the case either went cold or took a really long time to solve was because of a botched police investigation.

Hopefully Biden needs another war, and all the psychopaths who want to kill someone are drawn to the ARMY instead of the police force.
