this is reminding me of my low patience for eq drama. I enjoy it, and it is exciting, but it seems that these kinds of fast and loose games is basically what it means to try to compete for the high end game on this server. As in, 24/7.

If I am remembering classic correctly, this kind of drama is definitely part of the game. But not a 24/7 part. I remember it being periodic, when two or more guilds bumped up against each other. I only remember it getting chronic on my server (Quellious) during the PoP era, when there was a lot of calculated cock-blocking going on to retard people from progressing.

But this is just about getting loots. Not even about cock-blocking. I always thought, the grief about stealing shard mobs, monopolozing key mobs, was valid, since I think it was part of the chaos of those expansions (luclin and PoP).

But this is just about.... loot. And I can get drama on that. But constant? Meh.

These guilds are gonna get lots of turnover. And, to be honest, use yer fuckin brains, it often will be those people who got their loot and are now like.... umm, bored.

Ok, but that's not the issue here at all. Our tactics won and they were legitimate. The issue is FE looting teeth and turning in keys/bard epics in order to skirt their removal. You have no problem with that though I'm sure.
I do have a problem with it. The difference between you and I is that I have not been in a guild that's committed such acts. TMO should quit throwing stones from within their glass house.

For the record, Xanthias didn't loot his epic pieces quick and go complete the quest after being told by the staff that he shouldn't. The decision was awarded to us on the spot by Amelinda, and like a month later she reversed her decision. At least we have some firm rules now. It was 100% obvious that that was our engage and you simply took the matter into your own hands and then acted like total and purposeful delinquents. A lot of things used to not get removed when they should be, but I thought that had ended. I have faith in Sirken and his crew to do what's right here. I'm getting pretty sick of Forceful Entry deciding that we don't have enough people to kill something and then just doing whatever the fuck they want.

Jeremy, how do you feel about the rogue unbanning of RMT flagged accounts? Does time heal all wounds?

This is all you need to know about having GM's directly involved in the raid scene.

Buncha fuckin' 2 year olds pulling on Mommy's Skirt.

And, GM's used to port entire guilds to holding places until they got their decisions made. A GM that tries to solve a dispute and lets people leave the zone? Weak GM. Port and hold, port and hold, sirs and ladies.
