I have zero problem with simulated repops. I've posted this tons of times. Simulated repops will still go 95% to Nihilum, if not more. So instead of 50-60 pieces of raid loot going to Nihilum and 0 to Azrael/whoever, now 90-100 pieces of raid loot go to Nihilum and 0-10 to some other guild. All it does is further the gear advantage the biggest guild already has and encourage Nihilum to not only recruit more mouths but gives us the means to feed them. You want to know why Nihilum people in general support your simulated repop idea? Because it helps us more than anyone else. I'm sorry you're too big of a moran to see this.
Kergan, this post is complete BS. Simulated repops didn't go 95 percent Nihilum in the past, and they won't go 95% Nihilum in the future. Lets try not to rewrite history here bud.

I wish...... Sony... I think that's who owns EQ now? Would just fucking release a real classic server that I could pay $10 a month for active GM's to run events and police cheating and make changes based on community feedback because it is their jobs.

Unfortunately this is not an option so all you can do is swim in the cesspool and try to keep your mouth closed so you don't end up eating shit.

I agree. If I were Sony I'd honestly go to Nilbog/Rogean and say - we'll pay you XXX to do exactly what you did on P99 for us. You'll have to shut down the emu project, but you'll gain access to source code and backup DB files or whatever the hell else they have.

Will never happen though. 10-15k/mo profits for them are chump change.

To me, it would be a great PR move for EQ next.

"Relive the game that created the modern MMO and changed the gaming world forever before you play the next ground-breaking release of Everquest!"

"Classic dungeons, zones, fully staffed by our GM's to spawn events and help our players fully enjoy the classic EQ experience they fell in love with"
