IB Co-raided Sky last night with Anonymous.

Bump for a solid, up and coming guild.

<Anonymous> has been raiding the planes pretty hard since our formation over 3 months ago. We've become extremely proficient with Fear and have just started regularly hitting Hate. Plane of Sky is a different beast though. You can't just go there and start killing stuff just because it is re-popped and there is no other guild there.

We want to be respectful of other guilds so I have been contacting the Guild Leaders of other raiding guilds to see if (until we find our own time slot) we can tag along with them on their raids. The other Guild Leaders have all been very respectful and most of them are bending over backwards to help us get our slice of the Sky pie. We have joint Sky raids planned with several raiding guilds over the next few weeks.

Last night, <Anonymous> was invited to raid the Plane of Sky with <Inglourious Basterds>. Unfortunately, I had to take a kid to gymnastics so was not available to attend. <Anonymous> and our friends in <Primal> brought a combined force of 2 1/2 groups to the raid. Four Officers attended the raid and they stated that it went extremely well and that <Inglourious Basterds> was a lot of fun to raid with!

I'm trying to clean up and go through my crap in the study now to clear out some trash and whatnot since we got through moving, and should be back monday, with luck. Can't wait to get back in!

Last night, an <Anonymous> guildie noticed that the Tangrin was up in the Field of Bone. What a coincidence! It just so happens that our enchanter, Sereh, needs to kill the Tangrin and loot the Sands of the Mystic for his epic...

So, we put out the call and in true <Anonymous> fashion, we had a raid force in no time.

So, we pulled that smelly ape off of his island and and we put the smackdown on him. In no time at all, he was dead and Sereh looted the Sands of the Mystics.

Over the last few days, I have been communicating with other raiding guilds in an attempt to get in on the Sky action. After killing Eejag five times in a row on Halloween night, we have several people at the Gwan part of the monk epic quest. On Thursday nights, Sky belongs to <Taken>. After chatting with their leadership, they generously allowed us to take Gwan last night.

So, after killing the Tangrin, a group of us ported up to Sky to go after Gwan for Woton's epic. Woton spawned him and this time he didn't get flung off of the island! Nicely done, Woton!

We engaged him and killed him and Woton got the loot!

Dogofwarjr has a baby monk that he wants to get an epic for. He had done every part of the monk epic quest up to Gwan and looted it all with Dog for a later MQ. He logged on right after we killed Gwan for Woton. So, the group of us decided to camp out our toons on Island 1.5 and log them in again in 2 hours when the presence (used to spawn Gwan) respawns.

Dog found himself a ride up to Sky and got himself to Island 1.5. A little less than two hours after we killed Gwan, the presence spawned. We all logged back in the toons we had left on Island 1.5 and were ready to go.

Dog did his turn in and Gwan spawned.

We worked that boy over and I could swear I heard him screaming for mercy. We showed him none and killed him. Dog looted his corpse and we all cheered and told each other how awesome we were!

Dog can be kind of persuasive when he wants to be and he talked most of us into going with him right then to see if the sleeping ogre of Nurga was up. He was and he conned indifferent to Dog. Dog was about to do the turn in to get Trunt to spawn when I made the mistake of sitting my purple clad butt down next to him. Apparently the sleeping ogre does not like it when I sit next to him because he jumped up and started attacking me.

I rooted him and we all relogged. After doing so, we conned him and now we were KOS to him. You have to be indifferent to do the turn in. So, Dog went over to the sleeping ogre and opened a trade window. Once the window was open, Calyan hit him with a Camouflage and Dog completed the turn in.

Trunt appeared and started attacking Dog. Dog held aggro, Woton provided melee DPS, Vaear's pet provided melee DPS and Vaear himself liched me, Calyan (the druid) tossed spot heals whereever he could, and I was main heals. Spells were not landing on Trunt. My mana started getting low when both Calyan and Vaear reported they were OOM. I only had enough mana for one more Complete Healing when Trunt turned and started trying to run away. We let out a cheer and (a sigh of relief) and chased after him to finish the job!

We killed that ogre and Dog looted his head. Woot! We all agreed to kill Trunt on Friday for Woton and camped out our toons at his spawn spot.

Gratz to Sereh, Dog x 2, and Woton! And GO <ANONYMOUS>!
