We got dominated on ST key mobs until ironically you merged (all those Taken guys falling asleep) but apart from the early months in ToV (when we lost some of our more loot hungry pixel whores to you) that zone was on a way one trend to being owned by FA. See year to date kill lists.
Removing mallet- spamming on spawns seems to be the straw that broke Hokushin and thus rampages back. He made his displeasure obvious on Sirkens stream.
Necro'ing that: didn't you app to Rampage before being offered a DKP package to stay in Forsaken..?

If you're going to start this shit again, have proof. This shit is getting absurd. Didn't you guys claim to quit? Cold turkey is hard to do man.

Skew left TMO when Forsaken split off and was in Rampage. He wasn't in Forsaken until he left Rampage. I sent him a tell when I came back and started playing again and talked to him. Me and him have been friends for long while in game. We've been in 4 guilds together now. He came to the decision that he wasn't happy in Rampage with the amount of time he had to play. He was very complimentary about some things you guys did and not so complimentary about others. He is however and always will be an asset to anyone who calls him a friend. I will always nag him until he is guilded with me if needed.

The guy is simply class and a fun guy to have around any guild.

TMO broke up. I stayed guild less for a month. Appped Rampage I guess early July (you already had a fair few ex TMO by then and a good bloke in Franswa I wanted to guild with) and did some Velious Beta with you.
Was impressed with your guild , zero problems but when ghost Lazie came back i joined Forsaken later that month. I think I told him something about how you guys were going to dominate Velious - I'd have been decked out by now if I stayed assuming your LC was fair even with a dozen Rogues per raid and I knew a new guild was going to be rough but the pull of old friends and a challenge mate.
I jumped ship from the pixel cruise to the life raft.

All i feel is that the server lost some of its goals to work towards to, which is a big reason to play on a nostalgic server like p99. Also with people leaving the world will be more empty. Overall it just makes me sad that the people here couldnt find a way to prevent this from happening and value their pride and self-righteousness over the most of the server population. Anyways good luck to the people leaving the server, I just hope your scorched earth behaviour doesnt give you any satisfaction cause after all you just made this little world a little lighter.

"overtake Rampage"

Forsaken got dominated. Asgard got dominated. You allied to form a mega-alliance and months later BEGAN to "catch up to" us.

Wow skew.
You guys got dominated and lost your uncontested kills. You no longer had the numbers advantage you had at the start of Velious that you had by and alliance and merge with A-team. You then tried to alliance with Taken to fix that and continued to lose after a good start with them. Your core of monks and fte'ers on spawns got mad that they couldn't sit on spawns and use autofire anymore and left. Stop with the rhetoric. When the game became fair and competitive you guys tucked tail and ran away.

Detoxx did not use autofire so that rhetoric needs to stop too. Anyone seeing that video going around can see pretty clearly no autofire was used.

Doubt this would have happened if FA didn't :
1) make the raid scene fairer by removing "Mallet spamming with AF" (see Moosejaw fraps for example)
2) catch up to ,then overtake Rampage forcing them into merging with a Zerg of warm bodies , then continue to still dominate said alliance

But there's enough RMT with ST loot to buy a shiny new bicycle for your paper rounds so I guess that's a win.
Nothing funnier than AF allegations when your guild leaders wizard just got banned for it.

That koolaid must be strong.

I mean, its pretty amusing to hear you claim autofire when Detoxx was banned for that just yesterday.

Anyway, convincing Sirken to overthrow the player made agreement and go back to COH-quest was a brilliant move on your part. Two magicians can't really cover all of NTOV, so you started by picking up uncontested dragons just by putting your mages in other places. And then, with each dragon taking 3x the tracker time (1 monk on a spawn point -> monk+mage+bind sight tracker) , you just waited for Rampage to burn out while zerg recruiting a whole bunch of hungry people and offering them a lot of DKP for tracking. The whole business was a near carbon copy of Kunark launch, really, with the difference that there was no content to lock in Kunark.

It's sad that, unlike EQ Mac, we won't have a full Sleeper's Tomb for years for everyone to enjoy the classic content. But I blame the staff here: variance encourages this hypercompetitive raid scene, because when you've been staring at the wall for 16 hours you really want to kill the fucking mob. It will be interesting to see how the server changes over the next year or so. I hope this leads to a less competitive and more nostalgic environment, but I kinda doubt it.

Fix binding in ToV.

Ban CotHing in Velious zones for purposes of FTEing.

Reduce Variance hugely so mobs overlap a lot more.

Make suspensions actually hurt. A 5-day Forsaken suspension is laughable. No mobs are even in window because the server reset happened. 2-cycle suspensions on single mobs are also laughable considering you need rock solid Fraps for anything to happen, guilds have proven they are better off breaking the rules every time and hoping they didn't have good enough FRaps.

Make bannings actually hurt. Getting caught on fraps using bannable 3rd party programs to cheat, then swapping characters to your main in the same fraps... Yet you only ban the alt, lol. Probably was only a suspension anyways.

Raid scene has always sucked here. I dream of days I can tell my guild at 7PM Sunday we will start buffing in ToV and begin crawling through North and at around 10-11PM we call it quits after slaying a few Dragons.
