They want equality of outcome not equality of effort.

P99 isn't even equality of effort. It's a combination of luck (sometimes luck or RNG), effort (socking, being prepared with appropriate toons, raid mads, understanding of game mechanics, getting numbers), and perseverance (showing back up after losing a close FTE, keeping your chin up after a CH missed by 1 second and you wiped and saw someone else loot those glorious items).

In today's MMOs they pump out content every 8 weeks b/c the super hardcores finish everything in a week and the casual scrubs clear the content as it's slowly nerfed "retuned" and get to finish it all then cry for more. On P99 the dynamic content is competing against each other time and time again. I believe that the competition provides the mixed PVP/PVE element in P99, keeps the content fresh and dynamic, and keeps players logging in.

I guess on a basis of sheer quantity of time used, making a post suggesting new rules takes a couple of orders of magnitude less time than socking every target on the server. It probably took me less than 2 minutes to post this. How long do you think it takes to successfully compete against the top guilds on p99 for raid targets?
5 minutes since Paradigm Shift has proven as much.

Or the time it takes to get a stack of pearls delivered.

Whoa whoa whoa.

1. Who said I'm leadership?
2. You really think this is all I'm / we are doing? This is just me shooting the shit while I'm at work. Calm down brother.
Your position has shifted quite dramatically from 'lol it only takes 2 minutes to post'.

How so? Even in the post you quoted I state I'm just shooting the breeze here.
