We don't get mass tourism in Houston which I'm fine with. Florida gets that yearly retiree wave that end up bitching about hurricanes. We flood because of over development west of the city,and bitch about hurricanes. I'll post a pic of my neighborhood from Harvey.

90% of "Retirees" are going somewhere else, florida has been too expensive for most to retire in for a lot of years. Things are very different here.
